Michael Beals

Michael Beals presents his art as a fusion of poetry, gospel and jazz music; a unique artist in his own right, there are no better ways to describe his approach other than 'holistic'.

What a pleasure it was to have Michael in with us at Codapop! Working with him on the gospel-poetic "Beechville" was a real treat. It gave us a glimpse into the life of a man whose experiences centered around his hometown. Aided by his daughter (who sang on the intro and outro), Michael used his gift of poetry to paint a lyrical picture representative of who he was and where he came from.
