The Studio
Mix Room
The control room is fully isolated from the rest of the building and is designed on a floating floor system with frequency absorption and diffusion along all walls and the ceiling. Mixing can be as flexible as required with complete automation and entire mix recall, adjustments can be made easily and at any point in the recording process.
Studio A
Studio A is our professionally designed record floor which allows the sound of you and your instruments to be captured without the problems often associated with overly large or untreated rooms. This means drums sound full and upfront with less bleed into surrounding microphones and vocals remain tight and warm.
Guest Lounge
Our lounge, like all rooms in Codapop, is fully wired for sound so not only are you able to play wii on the HD television or enjoy the foosball table but you can also record drums or loud guitar amps when the sound of a larger than life room is required. The client area allows for a creative and relaxing environment to retreat to while being fully isolated from studio A and the control room. Located just off the south entrance of the lounge, and secluded from the main street and residence via a wooden gate and staircase, is a private deck in a backyard that feels like rural Nova Scotia.
Piano Room/Studio C
Above the main studio and client area is a residence which contains a Yamaha digital grand piano. Available upon request, this full size 88-key grand piano with weighted keys is easily recordable to the control room.
