Just wanted to say hello and let you all know that we have not fallen off of a cliff or hidden under a rock! We’ve just been so darned busy meeting with new artists and old friends that we haven’t paid the attention to the site as we should....but that is all changing!!
First of all, the folks here at Codapop want to thank everyone who played at the Seahorse on March 10th and 17th to celebrate our very first compilation CD!! If you haven’t had a chance, scroll through our “Codacomp v.1” section of the website and meet some of the artists featured on the CD. It was a great experience and we are looking forward to v.2. If you have any pictures from the night that you wish to share – post them on our facebook page –we’d love to see the night from your perspective.
Artists on the CD are getting radio play and we are super pumped to be working with Kimberly Sinclair and SpinCount to have more people across the country hear what Codacomp v.1 has to offer.....more on that in the coming weeks.....
In other news, did you know that our very own Doug Taylor has been collaborating with Matt Fudge, Mike Ritchie, and Mark Bachynski on a new project?!? I have heard only snippets but boy, oh boy, is it ever good!! I will be uploading pictures for sure and *hopefully* some sneak peeks of the songs in the coming weeks.
We have a great range of musical talents gracing our studio over the next little bit – I am super looking forward to introducing them all to you!
Bye for now!!
Tammy
