Emily Steeves Band first came to Codapop for the shooting of a show pilot which followed the life of a song from creation to completion. The song was "I Miss You", something that Emily had written two years previously. The band had never heard the song before and had agreed to rehearse and record it over the span of two days while the cameras rolled and captured it all. Produced by Rob Crowell (Matt Mays & Torpedo, Glory Hound) the song was mixed Laurence Currie (Sloan, In-Flight Safety) and mastered by Fred Kevorkian (Ryan Adams, Iggy Pop, The White Stripes).
